Art Prints For Palestine by Ovaettr

My name is Orion Fern. I am the two-time award-winning artist of 'THE FOX WHO BECAME A GIRL', I hail from and represent Denton, TX as I am supported by the Greater Denton Arts Council.I am an early-adopting active user on BlueSky, where many Palestinians have spoken out about the horrific constant bombings and attacks against them enacted by the apartheid fascist state of Israel.
Palestine is currently "the hungriest place on Earth" (Al Jazeera, May 30th, 2025) due to the Israeli blockades on any aid shipments coming into Gaza. Except, of course, an Israel/U.S. approved shadowy NGO that is basically bait seeing as "...20 people were shot by Israeli troops as they desperately tried to get food at a GHF aid distribution point." (Al Jazeera, May 30th, 2025) Lastly, as of June 4th, 2025, "the USA vetoes the ceasefire deal at the UN for Gaza" - plunging its people into further starvation.
This is enforced famine meant to consume Gazans.
These are unspeakable horrors that must be spoken about loudly.

The families on this page are vetted by Molly Shah, and by me, in the fact that we have spoken to these families directly via BlueSky. What innocent Palestinian civilians are enduring is horrible, it is genocide. We must be brave enough to call out what we see in truth and do all we can to support those suffering, those most vulnerable. Why? Because in the future, everyone will have been against this.

We are focusing on five families that we have spoken the most to.

Families In Need

Odai is the young child of Sahar a young mother who is trying to survive the impossible with her family. Odai needs urgent surgery they cannot afford in Gaza, and must seek escaping through the border crossing (expensive) to seek care or raise enough funds for care in Gaza (very difficult with Israel's blockades.) Every donation to them is lifesaving. Odai has not been able to walk since being struck by a quad-copter that shot at him horrifically so.

Lubna (30) and her family are suffering in Gaza. Naser (4) her son, needs special medical care for stunted growth. (6/4 Update: He is currently sick!) Her husband is Rami and her daughters are Eline (7) and Kinda (2). Supporting them helps them get across the border crossing, which costs a lot to pay for if open. In the meantime, they urgently need to buy food AND seek urgent medical care for Naser.

Hoor is the young daughter of Belal who is her father organizing the fundraiser for their very survival. They are trying to escape Gaza, and in the meantime, simply attempting to survive being in Gaza. They urgently need food, and Belal and Hoor are all alone in the terrifying situation, avoiding bombings every day.

Saed (27) is trying to survive with his family in Gaza. They are a large family, and his mother Hanan (55) suffers from an eye disease that needs now incredibly expensive treatment due to the bombardment and war. The need for eye surgery is urgent. They lost their new home, university, and everything once the attacks started.

Eslam (24) is so young and dealing with the onslaught of the genocide of Gazans while in Egypt doing all she can to help her family from abroad. They are trying to rebuild their lives as a family. Eslam needs our help one last time to provide funds to rebuild her life after getting her family out of Gaza. Nobody deserves to endure this madness. Eslam is also a wonderful artist, like I am, so her story resonates with me deeply. Creative spirits - as all people are naturally - deserve freedom to express the self. Not bombardment from war.
